After dinner, Ben and I made a snowman out of Playdoh.

The Colorado River Crossing Balloon Festival had lots of pretty balloons. We brought a picnic dinner, sat on our blankets, listened to music, and watched the balloons light up. It was lots of fun. Ben saw his friend, Holly. He really liked the balloons. A man offered to let him get in one, but he was scared of the fire. Maybe next year! We even got a family photo. It looks like I'm shooting flames out of my head!

After shooting fire from my head, we sat in the bleachers and waited for the balloons to be put away so we could see the fireworks. We were getting ansy waiting so, we headed to the car, watched a very short fireworks show, and were 3rd out of the parking lot. Go us!
Matt enjoyed dancing to the music.
