Yuma County Fair

was a little expensive for what it was worth... Tickets were $0.75 each. No rides were just 1 ticket. Minimum ride was 3 tickets. The boys each got to take a train ride. Admission into the fair was $5 for each adult. It was hot. The animals smelled. Ben pitched a huge fit about wanting to ride more rides. Probably skip it next year...

Last week was Ben's spring break. I know, really, for preschool. For Ben's first big spring break, we got sore throats and stomach viruses. It was a miserable week! Thankfully, we're all feeling much better.

The pigs made me think of Wilbur from "Charlotte's Web". I read too many kid books.
Matt didn't want to get too close to the sheep. They were weird. BAA!
So this guy was just out making a sandcastle.
Four laps and the ride was over! Ben loved riding in the engine and ringing the bell.
The Budweiser Clydesdales made an appearance. I haven't seen them since the grand opening of the new exchange at Cherry Point. Those horses get around. They're huge up close.
