Quotes from Ben

Ben loves Curious George these days. He has two quotes that he repeats from the show -
"There is no time like the present to learn George."
"You can't stop progress."
I have not pointed these out to him. I've only asked him to repeat them to be sure I'm understanding that he's saying those.


Ben also loves Rascal Flatts. We listen to nothing but the Feels Like Today CD in the car. When Sarah and I picked the boys up from OEF care the other night, we were riding home and Ben asked Sarah if she saw him in the window. After a little confusion, Sarah was like "yes, I saw you". Ben said, "You looked in window and you saw me, you saw a brand new man." Sarah and I could not stop laughing, and I said who are you Brooks and Dunn? That made me think - country music - Rascal Flatts - must be on the CD we're listening to - sure enough - Sarah found it on her Iphone - song #6 When the Sand Runs Out - "That was then and this is now; I'm a new man, yeah, I'm a brand new man; And when they carve my stone they'll write these words; "Here lies a man who lived life for all that its worth"." Sarah was amazed. Just another day with Ben for Matt and I.
