Dan went on a cross country to Seattle on Friday. He was supposed to get home on Monday, but ended up spending Sunday night in Portland because one of the jets was down. After getting that jet fixed on Monday, they flew to Fallon (outside Reno) on Tuesday where Dan's front tire went flat. By the time maintenance arrived, they stayed in Reno Tuesday, fixed it early Wednesday, and flew home. Of course the jets have maintenance issues when they're so far from home.
Dan mentioned bringing surprises home for the boys. Ben wanted something blue. Matt wanted something green. So yesterday, Matt was whining for his present and says, "I want a green IPhone." No such luck, Daddy came home and Mommy slipped a new Thomas and Percy into Daddy's bag. Luckily, they enjoyed racing them!
