Ben jumps in and swims to a noodle. Coach Knight was teaching him not to panic. He was also trying to get him to get on top of his noodle. He easily did it the time before, but he was getting very tired. Swimming is such great exercise for them! We were trying to get this on video for Dan. Unfortunately, I can only send short videos to Dan from my phone, so I was trying to hurry Ben along. Coach Knight was great with him, working at his level and speed.

At the Pool
Ben and Matt took swim lessons with Coach Knight last week. Ben is like a fish now! Coach Knight commented that he was very athletic and can do stuff most kids his age won't attempt. He now swims across the pool taking a breath after three strokes. We're also having fun diving for rings together. Matt is working on his balance, kicking, blowing bubbles, and arm strokes with a bubble float attached to his back. He likes to hang over his noodle and go all over the pool. He doesn't really like to put his face under. I still feel like I need to be right with him. Matt was not the most cooperative student. I think he would do better if I weren't around...
