After picking Ben up at the bus stop yesterday, Matt announced his ear hurt. After Tylenol and ear drops, he napped (miracle) and woke up for dinner whining. I knew my night was doomed! We put all of the kids to bed. Dan takes Ben to the bathroom, notices Ben is super hot. He complains of a sore throat. Tylenol and back to bed. Abbie still hasn't gone to sleep yet. Lay down with Abbie. Abbie has an appointment already scheduled for Thursday for a runny nose and cough... Fall asleep with alarm set for 6 am to call pediatrician for necessary appointments.
Ben wakes up at 4 needing more medicine. Back to sleep. Ben wakes again at 5. Dan lays down with him. Weird dreams about a bug.
Call at 6, get appointments at 1:40, 2 and 3. Super! Matt wakes up cheerful after a full nights rest. Didn't see that coming. He went to school. Ben stayed home with his fever.
We survived the appointment. Ben has a viral sore throat that is going around. Matt has his first ear infection. Abbie is going to try Claritan for what could be seasonal allergies.
