Pre-deployment Vacation!

Salt Lake City here we come! Dan leaves on August 16th, so we decided to visit his family in Utah before he takes off for Japan.

Matt loves stairs! He would even nap there if he could.

We visited Grammy's Library.

We took Guardsman Pass to Park City. Dan and Ben looked over the edge.

Ben wouldn't quit making funny faces. Matt was sleeping in the car.

We arrived in Park City. Matt and Grammy checked out the horses. Dan and I went on the steepest zipline in the world. That wasn't nearly as scary as bungee jumping. What fun! Except when I went flying into the guy at the bottom - how did I pick up speed when Dan was slowing down. Dan and Ben rode on the Alpine Slide and the Alpine Coaster. They enjoyed them too.

We took the ski lift to the top. You can see the Alpine slide on the bottom left. The zipline goes through the opening in the trees on the right.

Ben was so excited!
