Yellowstone - Sunday - Part 2

We continued around the northern loop of Yellowstone.
Some trees damaged in the fire.
An interesting rock layer that looked like piano keys.
Closer view.
More damage from the fires.
A closer look at ground level.
The sun is trying to peak through the clouds. A tall mountain.
Bison laying on the side of the road.
Bison.
Another bison causes an animal jam.
We left Yellowstone and drove south into Grand Teton National Park.
More of the Tetons.
Dinner in Jackson, WY.Mimi and Papa - recognize this place?

We left Jackson for SLC. We arrived back at Dave and Fairlie's at 1am. It had been a long day in the car. We were very tired. We caught up on some much needed rest on Monday. We headed back to Yuma on Tuesday.
We're back home with Maddie and Lucie now. Dan is enjoying a week off although he just went to work to check his email. Matt and Ben finished their summer reading program, so we went to the library today to pick up their prizes. They each got a new book and a backpack. They were very excited!
