We tried to float down the river last week, but the tubing company was closed. We finally decided floating might be less expensive if we take our own tubes and drive ourselves, so Dan and Ben took off on an adventure of their own. Matt, Mimi, and I dropped them off at Gateway Park near the Ocean-to-Ocean Highway and picked them up a mile down river about 40 minutes later. Matt rode his bike around a pond at our pickup site while Mimi walked. I sat under a pavilion drinking water... taking it easy is getting old.
