Our c-section was scheduled for noon on Wed. Dan went to bed about 1:20 am on Wed. morning. I decided to use the computer because I was awake for some reason and couldn't sleep. After wishing Grampa a Happy Birthday on facebook and wasting a few minutes at the computer, I realized I was having contractions every 3 to 4 minutes and while I could still talk during them, I was feeling pressure and decided it was time for me to go to the hospital. At 1:40 am, wake Dan. Dan looks at me like I'm crazy - really could you do this again? We went in early on the day of Matt's c-section too. We grabbed Mimi and hit the road. At 2:05 am, we were at the hospital. Dan claims it is the fastest trip ever made to the hospital from the foothills. We may have chosen to ignore some traffic signals... The nurses slowly got me set up in Labor and Delivery. Finally, they realized I was 6 cm dilated. Does Dr. Gasca Holtz want to come to L&D or go to the OR? I told them she could meet me at the OR! No one ever listens to me. A few contractions later... Why do I have to go into labor to have a c-section???
One spinal block later and...
Abbie and Clair were getting cleaned up!
Abigail Jean arrives at 3:21 am.
Clair Anne arrives at 3:22 am.
Looking good for 20 minutes of sleep!
They like to chew on their hands.
Hello Clair!
Beautiful flowers!

Ben finally gets to hold his precious Abbie!
They like to sleep face to face.
Holding two is pretty tough when they're squirmy.
Taking the face to face sleeping to an extreme level. Can you see me now?
First attempt at a Family Photo.
Second Attempt - okay one of those will just have to do.
Fairlie and Dave drive down from Salt Lake. Comparing babies.
Happy 60th Birthday Grampa!

Oh, Hollie and Dan, Abbie and Clair are beautiful! Thank you for sharing such wonderful photos of your family. We are so happy that all went well - in spite of the quick drive to the hospital!
All our love, Debbie and Garth
