We had a busy week. Maddie went to the vet on Tuesday. She is doing great. Her tumors are not changing significantly, so that is good.
On Wednesday, I took Matt to the doctor. He was still coughing. The doctor finally heard his cough. She didn't like the "crackle." After a chest x-ray, Matt was diagnosed with atypical pneumonia. Normal pneumonia has a hazy spot, where Matt's x-ray has streaks. The doctor gave him a breathing treatment and sent us home with an inhaler and another antibiotic. We spent over 3 hours at the naval hospital.
Later that night, Ben woke up with an earache. I took him to the doctor and he has an ear infection. The doctor also noticed he was wheezing, so he now has an inhaler, ear drops, and antibiotics... This took about two hours. It would have been faster if the pharmacy had received all of the prescriptions.
Dan was finally feeling better Friday. The doctor checked him and he is cleared to fly again.
The twins have runny noses. No cough thankfully.
We are a hot mess. Thankfully, Mimi is still here so I don't have to drag the entire family to the doctor/pharmacy/radiology for endless hours.
The pictures are the twins playing. They are getting really good at body parts. Abbie likes singing into her baby's bottle. They both like to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider. It is not cold here, but Clair insisted on wearing the fleece jacket. She'll sweat it out in the heat - anything for fashion!
