The Zoo

Mimi and I ventured out with the kids to visit the zoo. This was after my followup visit with the doctor about my kidney stones. Since I haven't passed them, he referred me to a urologist and sent me to radiology to get an ultrasound. He wanted to be sure the stones aren't blocking the flow of urine. Good news, they aren't and I'm feeling pretty good (fingers crossed, pain pills in purse). Urology appointment on the 29th.

Back to the zoo... We saw lions, tigers and bears. It was a nice, small zoo. The lion roared for us. Ben was panicking. The kids fed the ducks, goats and donkeys.

Matt and I counted alligators. I was holding him up so he could see over the vine wrapped chain link fence. I counted two. He counted three. "The third one is right next to your feet Mom." Super! He was hiding behind the fence. We made it out alive with all of our limbs.
