Ben starts first grade tomorrow. We met his teacher, Mrs. Farish, on Friday. She is really sweet. I think Ben will have a great year. Dan and I had our fingerprints taken at Matt's preschool last week. He starts this coming Friday. The rest of the week we did the usual playing and chores. We worked on some art to donate to Art for Archer. We played with Mr. Potatohead. We practiced some new songs. We perfected our watermelon, banana, and onion soup in Abbie and Clair's kitchen. It is their favorite thing to make. They even spice it up with olive oil, jam, ketchup, mustard and salad dressing. They take the lids off and make a psssst sound as they add it in. We got my tires rotated and balanced. Matt had a recheck with Commander Hamon. She listened to him breathe. She thought he was sounding better. He can still cough. I think he also got Dan and Ben's cold from the week before. He also had a runny, congested nose. Poor guy! We have to go back in a few days if it doesn't go away completely. It has been a rough summer. When school ended, we were recovering from the "stomach virus". Clair endured the ringworm epidemic (thanks Michele for naming the epidemic). Colds, colds, colds, shots for twins, ear infection, and pneumonia. Clair has a mosquito bite tonight. Let's hope this passes!
Unfortunately, I can't label the pictures... The order is also random.
