More bloggin...

Matt saw a speech therapist today. He passed both the eating and speech evaluation. He really enjoyed her. We've eliminated one more thing... Next! So frustrating.

We see the occupational therapist on Friday. She'll test to see if it is sensory, color, or texture issues. The two therapists will work together to determine a plan of action (if needed). They're both really nice and would be great with Matt. Thankfully, the therapy is here in Yuma!

I went to a lab this morning to have some fasting bloodwork. I took the boys with me since I've called in a few favors lately. Ben and Matt kept the waiting room entertained. Matt sat on Maggie's lap and smelled a plant with her. Ben let another woman play his Leapster and then tried to explain that you don't need to use the stylus to push A. (Duh! I don't think she has a blackberry.) She was starting to annoy him. Then Ben noticed a Gold Explorer in the parking lot facing the building, and he questioned the entire room, "who turned our car around forward?" How does he remember this stuff? When we were back getting my blood drawn, Ben looked around and said, "Who's going to give me a lollipop?" Oops! That kid isn't scared of anyone. Three year olds rock!

On a side note, I told him not to ask the ladies at the library for candy anymore. He could only have it if they offered it to him. He asked the librarian, "Could you offer me some candy?" Argh - I try so hard (not to laugh).
