Last night on our way out to have a final dinner out with Amber, I thought I was having some contractions... We decided to skip Burgers and Beer, and Dan and I went to the ER instead. The machine didn't pick up anything - yay! We were sent home - even better. The nurse thought it might be the beginning of a UTI, but I only have to followup if the contractions continue. So far today, all is well!
Ben and Matt were ready for bed but still playing toys. Ben was telling silly stories. Matt was playing with his new Thomas train. He has been counting to 4 lately. Suddenly last night, he counted perfectly to 13! I don't think he even knew he was doing it. Ben is also starting to recognize some words (cat, hat...). We were then trying to get him to change the first letter and make other words using their sounds. He finally got Nat, mat, rat, bat, and pat.
We took Amber to the airport this morning. She has been a huge help traveling to doctor's appts, babysitting, getting things ready for the twins, working with Ben on reading, and helping Matt count and recognize colors. I still don't think he understands colors, but he can sort his markers into reds, greens, blues, etc. I'm thinking he'll get it eventually, and he's not colorblind. I was starting to get a little concerned. Thanks for all the help Amber! As soon as Ben got to the car, he said he wishes you could stay! We're already looking forward to your visit in October.
