Dan will be leaving VMA-513, The Flying Nightmares, and joining another Harrier squadron here in Yuma called VMA-211, The Wake Island Avengers. He should move over to 211 on Monday of next week. Now that he's with 211, here comes the D word. He'll be joining a group from the squadron for a boat deployment. The boat leaves in early February of 2011, and is expected back in September. We don't know where they'll be going on the boat.
It is officially going to be a crazy year - twin babies and another deployment! Dan will be leaving when the babies are developmentally a little over 2 months old. We've decided that it is best for me to move the family to Georgia where I'll have lots of help between my parents, sisters, and friends. I'm going to have my hands full between two little boys that miss their daddy and twin babies. Come see us in Georgia!
We're also considering moving out of our home before Dan leaves since we'll most likely be moving from Yuma after Dan's return in September of 2011. We don't know where we're moving to yet. We hope to find out soon.
