On Friday, we took Grammy and Grampa to the Imperial Sand Dunes in California. Poor Dan was at the Rifle Range. It was hot out, but we managed to make it to the top of one of the highest dunes.
Grammy and Ben hike up the dunes together. Wow, our car is way back there.
Keep going. We're almost there.
This is about halfway up. We went clear to the top.

Ben liked sliding in the sand. We found lots of sand in his shoes and cargo pockets. His bed after naptime was a big mess. There was sand everywhere. Argh!
Ben and I sit down for a break. Ben made it to the top!
