Weekend Jeep Rides

We took a couple jeep rides over the weekend. The boys have been missing them. The desert looks different from when we left. All of the green has died into dry tumbleweed things. They blow in the wind, crack when you step on them and will scratch your legs. On Saturday, we went to the area north of our house. We've been there many times, but we found a new area where you can tell people like to take their atv's and dirtbikes. On Sunday, we took a "tunnel" under the highway to an area south of I-8. It was our first time out there. We somehow ended up on one of those trails we said we'd never get stuck on again. Dan managed to get us home safely.
