36 Weeks!

We made it to 36 weeks. I had an ultrasound with Jose and an appointment with Dr. Grogan today. They both went well. When Jose walked in to do our ultrasound, he said, "Wow, 36 weeks!" I guess many sets of twins are born before 36 weeks. Baby A was measured to weigh 5 lbs., 11 oz. She's in the 29th percentile. Baby B was first measured to weigh 7 lbs., 4 oz. She's in the 79th percentile. Jose re-measured her and got 6 lbs., 11 oz. He felt like he got a better measurement the second time. I don't think he told us the percentile for that one. He also explained to Dan and I that these should be accurate within 10%... Dan had his calculator out before we got to the car, and I was questioning it myself. I guess we'll be able to tell them apart by the big one and the little one.

Our c-section has been scheduled for Nov. 10th with Dr. Vining. Thankfully for me, there is an end in sight. We're very blessed to have carried them this far. Two weeks to go! Dr. Grogan thought everything from the ultrasound and my appointment today looked great. I go back for a checkup on Nov. 3rd and a pre-op appointment with Dr. Vining on Nov. 8th. Now, if everything could just go according to plan...
