Yesterday, we took Dan over to the base to say goodbye, and he found out it was a no go. Hurricane Guillermo was in the way. We got to spend another day with Daddy! We're very thankful for the past few days that Dan has been home to spend with us, but today we said goodbye - it wasn't another practice round.
We went to the flyover to watch the jets takeoff. Dan took off and waved his wings at us. He definitely saw us waving and cheering! I will add pictures and video soon. Very cool!
