Dan was very busy with work last week, so we thought we had only Saturday together before he left Sunday morning. We took the boys to open gym, Lake Mittry, and In-N-Out Burger. The boys napped while Dan and I did more things to get ready. We had a nice family dinner before putting the boys to bed and more chores. Dan wrote messages for the boys to look at each day. I stapled them into a chain that hangs around our bed - keeps it out of the living room. I also counted out 2 jars of 150 candy corns. The boys will eat one each day while daddy is gone.

I think I missed the smile. Everyone was getting sleepy and hungry for lunch.
We couldn't leave until they threw some rocks into the lake (or grass in Matt's case).
